    Novas ;)

Who on this forum has a nice sweet Vauxhall Nova? IMO they are beautiful motors that look great when modded. Next year ah'm gonna buy sweet 1.3 Nova SR to drive in.

Shove a few sub's in the back and whack on a few alloys - should look pretty decent!

Point of this post? I'm just wondering wether anyone has a Nova? Got any pics you can show us?

Learned to drive in a Nova, that was enough to put me off buying one.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

My friend had one, every boy racer more or less has one who thinks they are the fastest things on the earth. Sure they may look nice once modded but thats about it!

Best thing about a Nova - huge wheel arches, and XE engines can be shoehorned into them.

As for the rest.. well. Err.. Hmm..

They are cheap. Cheap to run, cheap to insure, cheap to maintain, cheap on the fuel [albeit not with a lairy 300bhp engine.]

Thought it'd be a pretty obvious choice. Being a Vauxhall, you can easily swap parts from biggers cars onto it. Kinda makes sense if you're on a budget.

There are some nice Nova's out there, take a look in last months TV, Tunni that was in there has a nice blue nova with an XE on it with carbs on it, only way to make a nova nice is to do it subtly and cleanly, big exhausts wheels n kits will just get you laffed at...

I knew i'd get immature comments from some people about the car. How can people who drive Nova's be automatically stereotyped "Boy Racers"?

How would you like it if I went around saying men who drive Ford KA's are homosexuals? You wouldn't, so I don't. Keep the snidey remarks to yourself ok?

    [/rant]

Yeah that yellow Nova above looks wicked, Not sure about the alloys though. A nova can be spoilt if its too "overdone" on the modification, it needs to be clean and sharp.

Anyone watch that "Britains worst Driver" a few weeks ago? With that awesome 2.0 litre Nova. That rocked!
