in car motorised single din screen , with usb !

im looking for a single din slot motorised headunit with a 7 inch or so screen that will pop oout when turned out and has auto switching as im going to connect a reversing camera to my girlfriends 307cc and well , shes not the brightest bulb in the pack when it comes to reversing

also it would need a usb slot compatable so she can plug her n91 in and play her songs from it , is this possible or will the usb only allow songs to be selected from the phone ? as the n91 can act as a mass storage device and you can browse it fine with windows just wondering if some of these stereos have a basic operating system that will allow that

i know i can build a car pc , but its her car and i cant be arsed really im saving that project for mine

plenty on ebay just cant seem to find one that says it will let you browse the songs on the unit instead of the phone?

I've not personally seen one that has a USB input. The one i was looking at for my car has a USB connection, but that is for using the touch screen in windows.

If the USB connection is more important than the screen then you can get a headunit that comes with a USB dongle. You put songs on the dongle through your pc then it plugs into the front of the HU.

Can't remember what its called but i guess it should work with the N91 if the folder format is the same

yeh ive seen those but the screen is of utmost importance as the visibilty is terrible out the back of the 307cc coz she is tiny so im riggin her up a reversing camera to avoid any nastys !

i know i could do that but id rather it all be digital and from a big easy to see interface , she will be driving and that can be scary enough sometimes nevermind when shes trying to select some songs thatway just now lol

Sounds like you have utter faith in her multi-tasking abilities

I think alpine or kenwood may do what you want - they go iPod connector kits and also do motorised headunits, so you may be able to combine the two...

EDIT - this may be what you are looking for linky but she would need an iPod instead of her n91
