Haven't had something good to work on for a while so I decided I needed something to get stuck into... Still not 100% what I'm letting myself in for

So what's first?
I'm starting by getting the rottern useless sidesteps off, then it's wheels stripped and painted.
While also trying to diagnose the random Diesel leak..

Quite a contrast to the A4 isn't it... I've always had a love of the Green Oval and it's just recently I landed the oppotunity to do something about it... So I did.
It's not got anything wrong apart from the Diesel leak, which we think is just a weeping Tank senser seal, it's mainly asthetics.

Great to work on aparently. you can strip the whole thing down with only a handful of tools... or something like that anyway.
Yeah they are almost sillyly simple - Especially this one as it's a TD, Not even electronic injection. Half the reason I took it up, the other half is because they are so damn cool.

Hows it going?
so far just one wheel almost refurb'd (Stupid weather) but it's slow and steady progress. Most of last week it was in use helping my G/F's Sister move house (It's amazing what'll fit in a 110)
