Question Something for your Xmas list.....

Ive already got a copy but I thought a few of you may be interested in the follwoing video/DVD :-

It covers this season CCSE racing (Custom Car Street Eliminator) - and is quite well produced - not everyones tea - but seeing road legal cars racing 8 sec 1/4's , then going on a 30 mile 'cruise' is interesting (my road car makes a guest apperance at the end of DVD1 - look out for a red Pug 306 estate !! LOL)
Who knows - maybe next year I will be featured (if the cars ever finished ! )

Video / DVD available from here http://www.quartermilehigh.com

where the hell can you get 11.5 litre engines? Most impressive 1/4 mile i ever saw (at the bulldog bash) was a twin motorbike engined mini with 400bhp through all 4 wheels, did it in sub 10 seconds, it annialated a skyline, was fantastic. What made it even better was that the bloke in the skyline had like 700bhp and was bragging that he was unbeatable . PLUS the bloke driving the mini was about 65 years old

Easy - but a custom block for a BBC (Big Block Chevy) then a stroker crank - and bobs your uncle.... not cheap though.
The calibra is actually running 'de-tuned' so that it can be driven on the road scary scary stuff - and this is the class im running in next year...... I am so going to be at the back

I would throughly recommend a visit to Santa Pod if any of you guys haven't gone - It's great to have a look around in the pits as well as the races. Just don't go on a day when it might rain (rare I know ), since it takes them 1/2 hour to dry off the track...
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

Dont go on a bike day either as it takes longer to get bits of bike and rider off the track than it does rain
