Demon Tweeks - without VAT Quote?!?!

I phoned Demon Tweeks a couple of days ago to order some Black Diamond brakes for the Octavia and the guy quoted a price of £174, so I told him about the 10% off for Briskoda memebers and he said no problem.

I looked today at my Visa and they've billed me £198.45.

So am I right in thinking he probably quoted me pre VAT price? As if you add around £10 delivery that would make scence.

Is this common practice as I have never needed to 'double check' that the price includes VAT, even more so since I phoned the road uk phone number not the motorsport.

Very angry to say the least!

    I take it that's a VRs?

If it's any help they're about £185 RRP with VAT on my list.

Could it have been like £25 delivery. Brakes aint exactly featherweight are they? (assuming you had disks on the order of course) (though maybe £25 is a bit steep...)

Very good service too. They carry a huge amount of stock for some very random cars. Brake caliper seal refurbishment kit for a 1995 silvia s14? In stock delivered next day

That'd be steep indeed. You can send a pallet for that!
