    guess so...

i'll stick to driving the father-in-laws for now... 1997 prodrive turbo, greddy turbo timer etc, 300+ bhp - good enough for now

Plus the insurance would be astronomical with all those mods declared surely.

you'd be suprised - If you pick the correct insurer you wont always get battered for having mods.

My mods didnt effect my insurance that much and they are all declared.

Fluffy dice aren't considered a performance modification though

Choose the right insurer and ya onto a good'n! If ya spend the time and shop around, ya'll get a good price.

First up, that thing must surely pootle around all day on a low boost setting. Yes, it maybe his daily driver, but not putting out that power all the time.

I'd have one just for the noise, which they've disappointly muted out with the standard exhaust on the '03+ models. If I'm paying Scooby money, I want the barble. Please.

How far can the bike go on a full tank, how far can your average rider ride @140+mph in wind rain and all the rest of the elements, how comfy could you blast up a road at 100mph on your bike compaired to in your nice Cav T with it heated leather, stereo and stuff...
    1. Well...duh. How's your mpg?
    2. You'd drive at 140mph in the rain?
    3. Heated leathers? Heated handle bars?

Some people really need to find out a lot more about bikes before shooting them down.

    plus bikers die quicker.
I love comments like this. When I say, I really mean hate. I'm sure all the bikers, and prospective bikers really appreciate that. Well done you.

If it takes a Radical to keep up with a GSXR1000 round a track, I can only speculate that the driver of the bike that was "own3d" by the Cav Turbo was either in-experienced or not trying.

Oh, and that Scooby needs some bug-eyes. I can't believe they never caught on. Luurvely.

hehe, methinks i've opened up a whole can of worms

suffice to say there will be occasions where a bike will be faster than a car and vice versa...

i just want a scooby. lots.

It's like arguing over a Ferrari than a Porsche. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

A little open mindedness goes a long way in discussions like these. Saying that, there's no winner. Yes, I can lap a Porsche on a bike, but I can't play my bass up loud outside MacD's to bag a foxy lady.

    Swings and roundabouts.

Oh, and I don't think you're on your own, horsegunner. If Adrian Flux was a little kinder to me, I'd have on, too.

    1. How does that ansa my question?
I asked because will a bike go as far on a full tank as a car will?

    2. No I wouldnt.
I was mearly exagerating earthly elements.

    3. Can you get heated leathers?
    Or Heated handle bars?

My entire post was a "Whats your post gotta do with the topic" post, I know its swings and roundabouts, but, as I said what does his bike have to do with a 500Bhp Scooby?

    I didn't bring it up.

And yes, heated handle bars and leathers are avaliable.

And come on -- you know full well a bike can't go as far as a car on a tank. Just means you have to stop more, yet can zip through traffic jams, so get there quicker.

    Dear Santa...

Personally i prefer the older style Scooby's, T reg era. The ones that actually have some agressive styling on!

Saw a new '03 reg one yesterday going around Nottingham, some guy had done a total rally conversion on it, stickers, wheels, lights, roll cage the works. Looked pretty good too.
