You've got to laugh.... or you'll cry!

I was driving along, 30mph road... doing 29.9mph and i saw this car in front of me... so i increased my speed to 30.0mph (because I'm a law abiding citizen) so i could catch up with the car in front. It was a metallic green Renault Laguna. Blacked out windows, Smoked back lights, Aluminium spoiler (that blocked all visibility of the high level brake light in the back window) and debadged. So the owner debadged it... sometimes they look better.... but this idiot had done what most escort owners do and arranged some letters to say "SORTED". FFS....

So i pulled along side of him at the roundabout. Looked across at him. HE WAS ABOUT 50 YEAR OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *I chuckled and pulled away slowly*

I've seen the car around my area a few times and now know where he lives... So I think I'll pop around with my digital camera and take some spy shots. It looks pathetic!!!!

    oh dear

you can but hope that it was the local garage blokey dropping it off after "repairing" it.

Although by the sounds of it a proper repair would involve parking it on a level crossing.

I remember when the kids first started doing that, and I must say, I thought it pretty cool.

    That was 3 years ago.

    On modified cars.

    Not a pipe-smoking, slipper-wearing Laguna.

Race him. See how SORTED it really is.

I personally thinks it's a good thing. The 'SORTED' with use of a mysterious D. An example of you're average Maxxer thinking outside the box.

I'm all for it. And so should you.

I feel kinda gutted for the C, though. The pain.

but they aren't thinking outside the box.... they are following suit.

I believe the D comes from the TDi models

I hardly think the old dude is really part of the Maxxer faithful.

Anyway, don't knock Maxxers. It's the guys that did it first that should get some cred, not the muppets that pick up on it 3 years down the line. They're the kind that will start listening to nu-metal 5 years from now. They don't warrent the badnwidth to be talked about.

...bar an old man trying to be street. With pictures, that does.
