    Unhappy my Roadster has to go soon...

    er, i cleared this with the management, so...

    i'm selling the Roadster soon unfortunately...

    it's a 1991 Eunos Roadster V-Spec 1.6i manual
    (aka Mazda MX-5)

    i'm after £3.5k for it

    it's stock atm, i've got a s/s exhaust in the pipeline (hmm)...

    it's got just under 80k miles (my last had 146)

    insurance isn't too bad either!!

    not replacing it until we can afford to run two cars again - so the wife's clio it is for now then

    as an afterthough...


    these mota's are good for 200k + miles (over in the US where it's called a Miata they go on and on) even with FI. And they're good for over 270bhp from the 1.6, i kid you not. And they outhandle about anything...

    The MX-5 engine is very heavy though, which kind of ruins it's advantage.

    EDIT: They are very nice cars though. I'm trying to convince my mrs to get one.
    I own a PC that changes regularly, so I don't bother putting anything in here...

    really? ruins which advantage? the things made of ally, and is only 1.6, so i wouldn't call it heavy, unless you're comparing it to a bike engine

    well..... i'm sticking a new clutch in it, and the s/s exhaust, and a CAI kit, advancing the timing...... so i might have to keep it

    Sorry, must be the 1.8 I'm thinking of. I'm sure one of them is a cast iron block.
