Cheers, very much so! Really looking forward to racing next year, there's a lot of work to still to do but I'm aiming for at least 1 class win, so we will need to work hard over the winter

Of course, actually finishing is the first objective!!! But I'm not just doing this for a laugh, I believe the car will be competitive so I want to be challenging for wins by the end of the season

Well for starters I need my race licence! The car needs a new braking system, cage, extinguisher, the aero kit, paint work, new engine, new dampers, more wheels and tyres, poly-carb windows and further weight reduction.

Yup, but the ABS system needs to come out and all of the pipe work needs doing from scratch to accomodate bias control. I'm also considering a change to Brembo calipers and 300mm discs, but we'll see

I'd put a lot of it down to tyres, road tyres just don't compare to sticky rubber It was a bloody hot day at Silverstone and so the advantage really was with proper tyres.

Were we there on the same day?! It was cold and damp, only really dried out towards the end of the afternoon, and even then it was deffinitely not hot!

Brands in july - now that was hot - hovering around the 30dg mark all day! I was down to about 15psi in the front tyres because of the heat
