It just worked out more cost effective this way...
Needed to fork out for my full license training + test & theory.
Sold my bike for £1k, this is just over that, delivered to me. Insurance will cost me £35 for the change, but no increase in premium, whereas with a 600 it would have rocketed.

Ah that makes sense - I'm having the same problem. My license restriction ends November next year and the premiums for me upgrading to a 600 are 2-3times what I'm currenly paying

how is it when you stretch its legs? Im considering a bike for my commute, about 50 miles, mostly motorway, or is something like that just a town bike? Not to threadjack, but would you need a 600+ for something like that?
