gotta agree with the Super Mod there.. If I had a choice in the next car I had, it would be /\/\ Vitesse.. real schweet mota... unfortunately, the missus is holding the purse strings on the next car, and it'll be something practical.. (or a Civic Type R if I can change her mind from a 206HDI)Originally posted by Moby-Dick
you clearly want my vitesse Tig
but they are UGLY
I want a pretty car, an evo looks so much nicer, or a mazda 6 or anything smaller than a tank
TiG
beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend... and not many people see the front of Moby's Vit.. (well, not for long anyhow )Originally posted by TiG

Drag? Bah you aint worth the petrol.
Hehe - all thats true - but make sure your on good terms with your local mechanic, they seem to use sellotape superglue and bluetack in the alfa factory (as opposed to bolts screws and welding)Originally posted by Shad
If you look hard, 10k will get you a 1.6 Lusso with climate, leather, cd, abs/traction/clever braking stuff/other acronyms, 120bhp and the most gorgeous sound from a 4 cylinder petrol ever
And wait till you drive one
Voted one of the most unreliable cars around in the last survey thing. It wasnt far off the frontera if i remember... *faints at the thought*
Butuz
heh - thanks for that Butuz,
Anyway i think i'd avoid most of the extras - i just want a decent looking car with a reasonable engine (probably more than 1.6 if poss)
Electric windows, power steering, abs. No bothered about aircon or leather seats. Just want it to be comfortable, fast, well built and at little bit unique.
Still waiting for the killer suggestion

Yeah very true Butuz, not the most reliable car in the world. From reading owner reviews, it seems you either get one that falls to pieces or one that runs perfectly. Thankfully though my local Alfa dealer is great.
What was it Clarkson said? "...not a true petrol-head until you've owned an Alfa"

Thanks m8
getting some clear indicators soon as I think it will freshen the front up without looking cheap
I looked a few Alfa's before getting my Audi and one of the major thing's that but me off looking anymore was the amount of bad reports of reliability I was reading about them. But then again it's prolly just like the whole computer scene, no one shouts and jumps up and down when their computer is working spot on.
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
and your telling me you've got IBM Deathstars as HDD for your computer?

Evo,sunny gti-r or m5 are all under your 10k mark. all great motors. oh by the way my car faster than my m8's m5 muhahaahahahaOriginally posted by TiG
