gotta agree with the Super Mod there.. If I had a choice in the next car I had, it would be /\/\ Vitesse.. real schweet mota... unfortunately, the missus is holding the purse strings on the next car, and it'll be something practical.. (or a Civic Type R if I can change her mind from a 206HDI)

Hehe - all thats true - but make sure your on good terms with your local mechanic, they seem to use sellotape superglue and bluetack in the alfa factory (as opposed to bolts screws and welding)

Voted one of the most unreliable cars around in the last survey thing. It wasnt far off the frontera if i remember... *faints at the thought*

heh - thanks for that Butuz,
Anyway i think i'd avoid most of the extras - i just want a decent looking car with a reasonable engine (probably more than 1.6 if poss)

Electric windows, power steering, abs. No bothered about aircon or leather seats. Just want it to be comfortable, fast, well built and at little bit unique.

Still waiting for the killer suggestion

Yeah very true Butuz, not the most reliable car in the world. From reading owner reviews, it seems you either get one that falls to pieces or one that runs perfectly. Thankfully though my local Alfa dealer is great.

What was it Clarkson said? "...not a true petrol-head until you've owned an Alfa"

I looked a few Alfa's before getting my Audi and one of the major thing's that but me off looking anymore was the amount of bad reports of reliability I was reading about them. But then again it's prolly just like the whole computer scene, no one shouts and jumps up and down when their computer is working spot on.
