This is exactly what I hate about the forums currently, your reply had nothing to do with the thread.

Who cares if your bike is quicker, what the hell has that got to do with me reading the thread about subarus?!?

Go post something useful will you.

maybe... off the mark in a straight line, but i bet it'd out-brake, out-corner and generally own you 99% of the time

Having a faster bike just means your gonna die alot sooner.

I'd take the skooby over certain death any day

    pffft

If I can leave a bike on a twisty road coming back from Knockhill in my old Cav Turbo then the Scooby will have no problems with it either.

Sure a bike is quick in a straight line but there aint many of them roads in UK now is there

On the roads in the UK the bike would win, easily.

But only because the traffic is so bad, and a bike can filter....

Ok, I say the bike would loose cos of twisties, you say the bike would win cos of traffic, you could also say it'd b a draw cos of the speed limits...
How far can the bike go on a full tank, how far can your average rider ride @140+mph in wind rain and all the rest of the elements, how comfy could you blast up a road at 100mph on your bike compaired to in your nice Cav T with it heated leather, stereo and stuff...

At the end of the day the bikes got nothing to do with the original post so its a mute point....
I win u loose, back on topic please....

i recon a decent bike would own a scooby, but as has been said, that ain't the point of this thread, plus bikers die quicker.
that scooby is sweeeet. anyone read the pretty grim legal bit on there tho? :S

Now i know my views on cars aren't the norm, but I've never liked the look of the more recent suburu's however powerful or silly they are.

When would you get to use anything like a 500bhp engine on the UK roads?.

Plus the insurance would be astronomical with all those mods declared surely.
