Mk 1 Clio speakers

quixck one for Clio owners - a friend of mine is wanting to buy her son a car stereo for his Mk I clio , but has no idea what the standard fitment front speakers are ?

its been a while since I've been in one , but do they have the 6" ish ones like a renault 5/ 19 had or are they more subtle ?

Yup, 13cm.

If it's an RT it'll have a 6 speaker setup. There are 4 speakers for the front, two rears. The doors are the 13cm jobbies and there are a couple of much smaller top end speakers in the lower part of the dash edges. Not sure what size they are though off the top of my head

My mum has an RL and there are just two speakers in the dash that look like 10cm ones. There are mounting points behind the rear seats for another pair of 10cm speakers- I'm tempted to bung some in there, as the current sound is, not to put too fine a point on it- crap. I have yet to dig the carpet up and investigate whether the wires are hiding under there all ready to go or whether I'd have to wire them all in myself (might be a bit beyond my abilities ).
