Unhappy Help Ka clock running backwards

I have niggling fault with my Ford Ka the clock runs backwards, it keeps good time just in mirror image??? I bought 2nd hand, electricals aren't covered under my warranty (which is extended to 1 year). It's a 1st edition P Reg.

I popped the clock out but it has a one way power connector so its not like the power has been connected the wrong way around. The imobilser light also runs through the clock so I didn't dare disconnect and reconnect it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

constantly backwards or just readjusts itself?
Reason I ask...lots of RDS stereos pick up the time and readjust the clock in your car....if the local radio station (SWAN FM, HIGH WYCOMBE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION, YOU GITS ) has not put the clock right at their transmitter, HUNDREDS of people moan about their clock always being an hour out.

If its going visibly backwardss.....plug your speedo into for a year

    kidding

I would ask there advice at the ford dealers... it maybe a common problem. If not try to get a replacement clock from the scrap yard and see if it does the same?

Zak33: yep definatly backwards, it keeps perfect time just in mirror image.

Mart: not much, the Tesco Value Plutonium just isn't doing the trick it used too.

XTR: I'll try again the electricians were out last time I went.

On a side note my friends FTO was recently written off by a taxi, ouch! poor Bryan.
