    Corsair TX750W

Can anyone please tell me if the Corsair TX750W comes with modular or captive cables?
Also will it fit in a Lian LI PC-A10 case?

    Many thanks.

it's non modular, you want a HX version for modular cables. Don't see why it wouldn't fix in the Lian Li ATX case it's not a humongous PSU.

Okay thanks but thats really annoying. There isnt a 750W model in the HX range and I don't want to go up to the 1000W version.

Post up what you need to power - the HX620w may be enough?

Well you don't need to go Corsair if you really want a 750W modular, although like chadders is saying...

Put what you're going to power with the 750W psu and see as the HX620W is a powerful one too.

    Re: Corsair TX750W

Well the 620W would be adequate but I wanted to get a new PSU that I could use in my next system upgrade so downgrading doesnt make sense to me.

You've got a HX620W already? What is the specs of the next system upgrade? The HX620W can power alot of components already I wouldn't see a need to upgrade unless you're getting very high power components and lots of them.

I have an XClio 750W. I've no doubt that the HX620W could power my current system but my next system is going to be Quad core, two graphics card and water cooled so I don't want to downgrade power.

You may want to wait on the PSU until you actually do the next upgrade. Who knows what may be out by then

What's the specs of that 'next' system? You might have a 750W XClio but I'd really like to see what you can spec that uses over 500W lets say. I know you see it as a downgrade but from a XClio -> Corsair HX620 I'd see it as an upgrade because it's more silent and the quality is better I'd say.

Well I don't know what the specs of my next system is going to be but you may well be right. But like Yellowbeard suggested I think I'll wait until I actually upgrade until I get the new PSU.

Well that's a good idea then. You wouldn't want to get it now only to see a new PSU come out a month later would you. For what it's worth this spec in my sig or <---- My System uses no more than 400W overclocked to 4GHz. I have to run a GPU intensive program too to reach that level, and the specs don't take into account the amount of fans I'm using nor the 25W pump. I used to think the PC's use near 80% of the PSU's wattage thinking we wouldn't have such high rated PSU's in the first place but was suprised when I first checked the real power usage. Anyway when you do get the information on your new build then post back and the users here can inform you of what PSU will be capable to power such a system.
