    Corsair Obsidian 800D Case

Surprised Corsair went for 3 X 140mm fans instead of 120mm. There isn't a single 140mm PWM fan on the planet so this case is no good for me. My motherboard only has pwm fan connectors. I don't believe in running fans from PSU or a fan controller.

You let me down Corsair. Again.

quite sure motherboards can still control fan speed based on voltage

whats wrong here, they make a case which dont meet your EXACT needs.

yet you want to moan about it? move on, look at other companies that have a case that can provide the features you want.

I'm not clear on what you are saying here? Are you saying that you believe our 140mm fans have the standard molex 4 pin plugs?

I would like to connect a 140mm fan to my mobo but my mobo has only pwm connectors and there isn't a 140mm fan on the planet. Can they accommodate 120mm fans?

    Re: Corsair Obsidian 800D Case

Unfortunately the psu can only be installed with psu fan facing down. Not a good move if case is on carpet. The CM Stacker allows psu to be installed either way. That would have been nice.

All the 140mm fans in our case have the 3 pin connectors. Not sure what you are getting at here?

i don't think he has figured out you can use a standard fan on a PWM header.

when he notices the offset the penny will drop

On my mobo if I connect a 3-pin fan to a 4-pin PWM header then it runs at full speed and there is no fan control.

    Re: Corsair Obsidian 800D Case

depends on the mobo, some allow control of both. the OP never pointed out the need to control them so im pointing out the obvious.
