    HX650 Hissing Sound

    Hi. My PSU is hissing when my pc is off. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

    The power supply is actually still running when the PC is shutdown, the +5VSB is still live. Is it more of a whine than an hiss? You could be hearing the +5VSB transformer whine but hissing is definately not normal.

    I've got this hissing noise on my HX620 when my PC is on... Seems like it trying to mimic my HDD lol

    More of a whine. But I have another identical psu which doesn't make this noise. I swapped psu's round but the same psu is still whining.
