I've ordered one. Lets mod it.







I'm into red and black colour schemes and i think white works well with the two colours aswell. So Red and Black and quite possibly White.

That "mp3" tray on top is a bit wasted... What can we do with it?

I'll podge up that dust trap of a 200mm fan with some Mesh Tulle, red of course.

The window looks cool, the combo of mesh and plexi looks nice, but i'm talking internals more specifically. Bear in mind that UV/Red cathodes are cliche', lets try be creative.

Plain black is alright, but lets spice it up, maybe white, PCB board looking tracks traced onto it? I'm not an artist so lets not go too OTT.

The back... I'm hoping i got a revised version of the case so i can get a DVI plug into it... But other than that, any ideas?

make the mp3 tray another vent, possibly 2 80mm fans can go there or even one. more ventilation.

Not a bad idea, possibly angle the fan at that nice angle that the rest of the case has, and house it in a moulded plastic?

Just had a cool idea. That window kinda looks like Pac man and i think that you should tint it yellow and then make the mesh bit white like one of the food pieces.

Then where you have the space for a graphic do some ghosts in a staggered formation. something kinda like this 5min paint job... err i have
to rush back to school so its a bit dodgy lol..

Could you fit something showing the temps and a fan controller in the tray bit? Then maybe put a cover over it, that's on a latch and a spring, so push the cover down and it opens showing the temp control, and then close it again *click* and its locked.

Just an idea tho

If i could find something like that ready built....

I do have an NZXT Nemesis Elite, with an LCD display controller on it, That could be removed and maybe fitted to the area.

Or maybe i could put a radiator there when i finally get my water cooling sorted out.

Why would you fit the radiator there when you have a 120mm mount at the back, a 120mm mount on the side, & a dual 120mm mount at the front? I mean if you were truly hardcore you would find a heater core that happenned to be about 200mm & attach it beneath the big fan.

If you're going for a red theme, I STRONGLY recommend that you strip the case down & spray-paint the bare metal of the inside of the case in red auto paint - it makes SUCH a difference, because then any lighting you have reflects off the red & looks even redder.







(Sorry, it's rather hard to get a decent photo of the effect with the lights down, but trust me - spray the inside & you will NOT be disapointed).

i like mine stock tbh, but it does look good with a large amount of the grills painted orange, like hl2 orange. though finding fans to match would be a bitch

Yeah it looks good stock, but i find blue a bit cliche'.....
It's a case that really screams out for modding though, it's just perfect for it.
