Using solvents on a black widow?

I have just got my black widow case and one of the things that annoys me about it [theres only two things i dont like about it] is the white writing all over the front of the case. In particular the "USB Inside" and "ATCS". I would like to get rid of these. Is this possible?

Would a solvent such as nail varnish remover take the ink off but leave the black finish untarnished? It is anodised black on the front unlike the gloss sides so would it work? Or should I just live with it and not take the risk on this nice case?

Well... If it was my case I'd probably leave it alone.

Having said that I doubt anything like nail varnish remover will do anything to the black (anodised) finish as it's black via a chemical reaction AFAIK - though it is only a thin layer that's anodised. However I'd also be a bit suprised if nail varnish remover got rid of the ink... but then having said that it's been 10 years since I did any chemistry... So what do I know I wouldn't try scratching the ink off either (as you're likely to damage this finish). Perhaps you could try asking coolermaster?

I think kit would look better without the two phrases i specified but leaving the "power" and "reset" and top coolermaster text.

Hmmm, I'd leave it bud. It's not worth the possibility of having a bleached front panel, lol

i bet a scraper would do the trick.... hold it really steady... and flat... and take it off... just like getting unwanted paint off glass windows

speaking from experience with removing lettering from aluminium (coolermaster bezels) I find that humbrol liquid poly works nicely.. paint it onto a small area, leave for a minute, then gently scrape off with a wooden lolly stick... takes time, but works..
