Whats in the box?
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...r/DSC_8365.jpg
The single most expensive piece of computer componentry (displays don't count!!) I have ever bought.............
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...r/DSC_8370.jpg
And it's big

Now to take it to bits:

Now what can this be

Looking good, and at last a black block to match the rest of the build!!

Stripped and ready to go!

On goes the back:
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...r/DSC_8434.jpg
and then the front............
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...r/DSC_8444.jpg
And now it's in, albeit after a bit of replumbing (unfortunastley the link to the classified block was to short, as was the link to the rad) - but after putting it all back - refilling - finding a leak - draining and fixing and refilling I am now back in action. Good times!!

Maximum detail in BF2BC is averaging circa 60FPS On my NEC 3090 @ native res. I'm a happy boy.
Once I have a bit of time (when I have tired of getting killed in BF2BC) I'll get some finished pix/temps up :)
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Looking good Syd, looking very good :)
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
My god this is a sick setup. Over three figures you say, care to be any more specific? I haven't done watercooling since a Q6600 was considered the bee's knees

Don't forget to overclock the puppy :).
EDIT: Syd, did that waterblock come with the backing plate or did you order it separately? I have the same block but got one of the first batches, before the backing plates were ready or released. Had to reuse the original plate - bleah.

Thanks for the comments :)
I'd rather not think about the budget, but the previous 'over three figures' was clearly before the 5970 and some time ago!!

Backing 'bling' plate came separatley, I had to order it from Germany in the end as no-one in the UK had any stock:eek:
