    Cool Kez needs a Kase

    Pre-Uni stuff again.

THIS will be the case that gets my pre-uni respray (in metallic blue.)

I've decided my old midi-tower is not up to the job. It's knackered, basically. So, new case time. Here's the requirements:

    - Must not cost the earth.
    - Must have a flat(ish) front for PS One LCD mod.
    - Good cooling.
    - Moddable.

I don't do pre-modded. One with a neat window would be great, but anything fancier I'll turn my nose up.

    Let's see your suggestions.

    Many thanks,
    Kez.

    Thanks guys!

    Stoo, that's good, REALLY good.

I'll be respraying it though... worth buying lovely anodised aluminium so that I can respray?

Edit: Oh, and where would I stick a 120.2 in it?

I'd have thought that the anodised one would respray easier as there's more for the paint to key to, 120.2.. I'm assuming that's a 120mm fan?

Actually you're probably right there about the aluminium.

    As for the 120.2:

Yes it's two (four if you use both sides) 120mm fans. Otherwise I might go with a 90.2 rad.

    Cheers Stoo.

I'm not sure actually, it could depend on how handy you are with a dremel

I'll have a look at mine when I get home and have a measure up

Well I thought about sticking it on the side panel behind the 3.5" drive cages next to the mobo tray, but it won't fit I don't think, nor will a 90.2.

Is there gonna be the room? That's where I'd prefer to have it to be honest.

Should be, if you leave the top drive bay empty.

I see one problem with that - the reservoir would be below the rad!

If you can wait until I finish work tonight I'll have a measure

iirc there should be loads of room at the top if you don't use the top drive bay..

Have you got any dimensions for that fan arrangement?
