    New black case?

I'm selling my dvd-rw / dvd / digidoc5 / king-kong hd cooler all to fun a nice new black case and cd-rw/dvd! Really muddled up on what to buy, been looking at the chieftec matrix/dragon cases... also some coolermaster cases (black widow). Would like to spend as little as possible really... suggestions?

    Cheers, Ethos

I have a Chieftec Matrix, I dont like the cases at all. From going to Chieftec to a Lian Li amazed me, I highly doubt I can go back to something as crappy as them. Go with Cooler Master man, except I dont like the way CM boasts their logo on everything they produce. Just my opinion but some people like to have that brand on there, doesnt CM remind you of some one else??? (*cough-cough SONY cough-cough*)

Antec PlusView 1000 AMG or Chieftec Dragon/Matrix.

They are very sturdy cases and theres large amount of space for you to work in which sorta makes up for the lack of mobo tray.

IIRC the Antec comes premodded with a window which saves you the hassle of buying the premodded door for the Chieftec ones or making your own window

I think the matrix looks pretty damn nice, what are the chieftec 360w psus like? Cause you can get this case without a psu.... idealy i want the coolermaster black widow but with a psu that'll cost about twice the price of the matrix ~£150

the AOpen H600B is black and should be around £70 ish pounds including a PSU. can take 5 x 80mm fans and mine's got a very low noise (temperature controlled) PSU (which i think is a rebadged sparkle)

The Chieftec Dragon range is good if you're after full towers. The Antec Performance Plus 1080AMG is better value than the PlusView 1000AMG - why pay for something that you don't really need... ?

Royce - Chieftech cases are in NO WAY crap - they are very well built cases with plenty of features and functions.

The Antec Plusview 1000 AMG has the same internals as the Chieftec Dragon/Scorpion/Matrix and is also a very nice case.

If you've got the cash to splash go with a Coolermaster Black Widow, but if not dont be put off Chieftecs as they are very nice cases indeed.

That's true... But the Antec AMG cases have two additional LEDs which can be hooked up to HDD controllers (if they have LEDs connections... )

Ive sorted it now thanks for the replies

    I've splashed out!

I went for the coolermaster black widow,
    Antec 430w truepower psu +
    samsung 52x/24x/52x/16x cd-rw/dvd combo!

Cost £244 but im hoping it'll last me for AGESS... (or until i get bored again).
