    Watercooling shuttles :) 56K - NOOOO

they said it was too small.......

no were not talking about my manhood here, were talking about the little shuttles and the ridiculously hard challenmge of getting watercooling inside them.

obsiously, i wouldnt post if i hadnt already acheived it, so ladys and germs i give you...

    premilinary setup

the radiator, no fan on it yet, as it broke in transit from my seller

the resevoir (its a bit longer than you can see here and is sitting in the corner atm

the pump and pump housing (temporary)

    a mess inside

the cpu block tubes, in the middle here

pretty chuffed with it so far, quiet and stable atm, its only set up and the tubes arent totally trimmed up, but its in place and its a start, ive to stick thsi acrylic case on it and stick the resevoir on the side for a smoother look

overal, pretty pleased with it, thanks to mgh0 for the advice in the early stages, and selling me most of the parts for it

I was expecting something self contained there. I dare say it could be done with one of those tiny ass pumps and a 3.5" bay res and copious numbers of elbows.

Five gold stars to you, i daresay it could be done too, but i dont want a copius amount of elbows or a tiny ass pump, i want a unique, odd looking (admitadly not self contained) solution,

i was basically just showing this to others as there isnt a heap of info about it on the internet, not as an inadequecy of my talent to fit a system into a small space

p.s. tardis? ...goes off to google

You dont know what the tardis is? What the hell?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!!!!

I wasnt dissing you, id actually forgotton how small those damn things are. If you need a mount for the radiator over-clock.co.uk sell them.

Thought of fabricating your own resevoir/pump enclosure to sit underneath/on top? Plexi is pretty easy to work with, and it would look a bit neater than just having a big bucket effort. Unless the pump fits in the res you have.

What blocks/pump etc did you use? (assuming 1/4" tubing?)

Who says it's gotta fit inside the shuttle!

    Outside and passive for me

You'll have fun getting all that inside the shuttleas they are so small. The only way I've seen it done is by modding the chassis, and having a very small res! Someone I saw even had a 1/2" setup inside theirs but no CD/DVD...

no probs, nah not goanbother with a radaitormount, its goign to hing on the back of the case, on a 80-120mm converter, a 120 mm on teh back anbd a 80 mm inside to take air accross it, thinking of do'ing away with the resevoir to aid water flow and using a neat littel box for the pump/res enclosure soon, whenever i come accross a good one (just a funny piece of tupperware really

goingto order a GPU block tommorow as well, so i can nearly kill all the sound off this little bugger the pump when submersed in here is near silent which is ace, only thing now is the grfx card fan buzzing away at me,

still shoudl look better when i mount it round the acrylic case and tidy it up a bit

p.s i DO know what a tardis is now, i just was gettting confused with a toniquee lol
