How to set up some LED's?

Hi all, hope this hasnt been asked before; did a search but coudlnt find anything. I was wondering if anyone knew a guide or could give me a few answers on setting up a string of LEDs in my case.
Firstly, I know a bit about the power they use, so was planning to run four 3v LED's in a series - so theyd share the 12v rail and wouldnt blow. But how do I give them power? I'm assuming I'll just have to stick the positive and negative wires into a pin on each side of a molex, is this right?

Any help is appreciated, and of course I'll post some pics when its done. I've just put a window in my Shuttle but the weak LED on the graphics cooler isnt up to much lol.

I wouldn't advise anyone to "just stick the wires into a molex"...
The positive would connect to the yellow (12v) line, and the negative connect to one of the black (ground) wires.

I found a useful guide here, which also has links to other useful sites!!

    Good luck!

Ask Grr44, as he seems to sell them so I am guessing he knows about how to set them up for a PC.

It would be better to use the Red line which is only 5v rather than 12 as 12 is overkill. There is a 3.3v rail somewhere too. Plus you need to add resistors to get the voltage down enough so you dont just blow up the LED...

Myself, I use a 470 ohm resistor on the 12v line for my LEDs.

fine out the details of your LED's and use this to work out what resistor you will need
