Question Lian Li PC-6299, worth getting?

    .. to replace my 6099?
basically it's a PC-6099 but it is slightly "deeper" to allow a dually mobo fit into the case.. thinking of getting the 6299 so that I'll have more room to play with watercooling

    what you think?

PC70 would be a better option if you're serious about more space for watercooling

Yeah I'd spend that little bit more on the PC70/75. That case has so much room inside it you can fit watercooling and a lot more.

Well, I have no problems fitting:

Thermochill 120.2 (with 2 papst 4312 L jobs on there)
aluminium drinks bottle (holds 2 pints)
    Eheim 1250
    danger den z chipset
    danger den maze 4 coppertop
    and plenty of 12mm tygon

all in my PC60. It's a little cramped, but as long as you make everything tidy, measure out your tubing properly, and plan the placement of each component before you put it in, you won't have a problem. Perhaps do a feasibility test with different kit measurements etc (to make sure certain components will fit).

    Hope that helps a little

    thanks Theo..
im using Tank-O-Matic res.. currently it sits outside of the case (at the back), but if i use a "longer" case I'll be able to fit the res inside the case, on the mobo tray
