That looks great! Looks like an amalgamation of Mario, NiGHTS and Sonic which can only be a good thing! Might have to save for a Wii!

Definitley do that, I'm sick of all the short sighted people unwilling to see games beyond the SSBB and Metriod Prime. There is plenty of games coming just got to wait.

*sigh* Kids today, don't know they're born!

This game definitely brings back the thrill of the 3D Mario series. I just wasn't too keen on Mario Sunshine for the GCN.

I was like that for the first few days of buying a GC and Mario Sunshine, as I was so used to Mario 64 on the N64.

But it grew on me, and now I really prefer it to Mario 64!

Although, i'm a bit concerned by what we've seen so far of Super Mario Galaxy - it looks very linear....

I agree, Mario Sunshine did take a bit of getting used to, and now I do really love it, it has a really good cartoon type feeling, and the graphics and the 3D effects are really stepped up from Mario 64. However, I not sure I'd go saying that it's a better than M64, M64 is a classic that no one can deny, it was and still is an original masterpiece of gaming.

Also, I guess the gameplay of SM Galaxy looks kind of linear from what we've seen of the game is becuase all we've seen is video's

Yes, but what the videos show is mario going from one wee planetoid to the next and so on ... no freedom to go back the way you came, and with just small planets it only really works linearly compared to the free roaming large areas in the likes of Mario Sunshine.

Thats the first I'd heard of it, so I did a quick google. You gave me goosebumps mate. I was a huge fan of NiGHTS on the Saturn.

    I'll ditto to that.

Can't wait for this game btw. Looks so cool with a great deal of fun to be had from playing it.. It looks great to with very nice colour shading.

About Super Smash Bros.™ Brawl. At first I didn't think that having a PlayStation® mascot in the form of Solid Snake was a good idea, but I understand why Sony™ gave Nintendo the green light to put him in it. I think it's because Sony sympathize with Nintendo's failures with the Nintendo GameCube.

However I'm sure Nintendo will do their fair share of the bargain when the time comes and allow some one like Metroid himself to be in Resistance®2 or something so he can fight the Chimera war alongside Sgt. Nathan Hale.

Sympathy for Nintendo....listen close son....you might learn a few things....

I think you'll find Solid Snake appeared on the NES well before he appeared on the Playstation and that Metal Gear Solid despite attaining a high status on the Playstation consoles is a multi-format franchise.
