    'The Wii is ****'

At the GDC Maxis developer Chris Hecker spoke his mind and then quickly came back to change it

    Linky

Thing is if you read the comments this was on a 'BURNING MAD' stage which is all about ranting... and he was just coming out and ranting about the problems he has been hitting due to the power limitations of the Nintendo's new console.

    Amusing

Must have got caught up in the moment, after all its not often these techies get let out and now you can see why.

It just seems like a rant with what starts like a small point and then rolls on like a snowball!

I am loving the turnaround statement that follows the original one. Get out of that hole!

Well I hope this doesn't turn into some sort of a snowball discussion/argument in the industry. As we all know the Wii isn't the most technologically advanced, but that was never the point, and we (or anybody) can't really say that it's technically a rubbish piece of hardware, when it was never designed or aimed to compete in that way. =/

I'm glad Nintendo is being rewarded for innovation, personally.
