Help! How to record xbox360 gameplay

Can any one tell me how i can record xbox 360 footage to my computer, but without having to watch through the computer monitor, instead looking through my tv which is connected to my xbox 360, while it is recording to my computer hardrive

Could buy a DVD recorder, they're pretty cheap now, and record it onto that then rip it to your PC. Other than that I'm not quite sure.

I've used something similar to this set up in the past. Did a decent job. http://youtube.com/watch?v=NVH1_9HhX9w

I normally play through VGA but for video recording I use composite.

The set up is basically connect splitters to each output on the composite cable (Video, Right Audio, Left Audio). I run one of those splits to the display so I can see and hear my game. I run the other split in to a USB-connected "Belkin Videobus II" and record video in Windows Movie Maker.

Means I can play at full screen on a display while recording uninhibited
