I find Motorstorm pretty easy. My second ever race I managed to come in 1st. It was in the early stages of the game, but I played for a while the other night and came 1st or 2nd everytime.

My fellow MotorStormers, I've been to the monument valley and I have returned. MotorStorm™ is indeed a revolution in the state-of-the-art pinnacle of graphics and game play.

This game has benevolently excited me, this is easily the best-looking game ever. The vehicles are awe-inspiring, the lighting environmental and effects phenomenal, and the textures diverse. Perfectly fine-tuned game play mechanics. Stimulating camera control. Not only did it engage my mind with vagaries, and intelligent lyrics from A-list bands Spiritualized®, Curve® and the Queens of the Stone Age® but this game also captures all my senses and my heart.

Once the commencing shock of it all wore off me it became possible for me to peel back the layers of sight and sound, there is an excellent racing game here. Thanks to the new physics engine I spent a lot of time tinkering around with it. In fact after my adventures in the Monument Valley and then returning to play normal games like Genji: Days of the Blade™, Gears of War® and Tetris DS® I have since been very dissapointed with the automobile physics they have on show.

I agree with some that MotorStorm™ doesn't do anything particularly new; it doesn't really innovate in many ways. But what it does is set a new height for all other designers of Racing games, my mistake I meant all games, to reach. It still isn't perfect, but it's about as close as I've seen in my tenure here. A new benchmark my friends.

Like all racers, MotorStorm™ eventually and unfortunately has an end, a very emotional one at that. But Sony™ have attempted everything to get gamers to come back for more, with tons of secrets. I'd like to make this post short and sweet, but it's hard to stop writing. There's just so much to say. MotorStorm™, simply put, the best racing game ever released. It is possible to write a thesis on the topic of MotorStorm™ compared to all other games. What Evolution Studios® have created is simply a masterpiece -- a piece of art.

I know what you mean - Motorstorm really does hit the spot, and it is hard going back to other consoles after playing on the PS3

Revolution? No sir, no. The graphics engine is indeed very good, the cars and drivers/riders are modelled well and generally react to the terrain well but the physics engine isn't very far removed from your staple rally title.

The gameplay itself is fairly standard stuff aswell, ever played off road thunder? how about excite truck on the wii? both offer very similar styles of gaming just without the shiny extra's that the ps3 is able to lavish on the screen.

The game has benevolantly excited you? Did you get your copy for free? not only are you plugging the game like you work for sony but you like to drop even more little hints as to your line of work through your use of language? The vehicles are well modelled but simple in design if we're fair. They are not awe inspiring, infact a certain calss of vehicles reminds me of a 3d model used in a piece of benchmarking software five years ago.

The gameplay is far from fine tuned, use up your boost at the wrong moment and you'll find yourself at the back of the pack languishing in last place crawling desperatley along waiting for your engine to cool down, this happens way too often, especially in a game thats main selling point is "fast paced racing action"

And as for intelligent lyrics from Queens of the Stone Age capturing your heart? Go buy the cd.

You were dissapointed in the vehicle physics on tetris ds? well I can imagine then why you were so enamoured by those on show in motorstorm

If you admit it does nothing new why call it a revolution? As good as it is it certainly doesn't raise the bar for anything but graphics, its a solid title, but nothing revolutionary.

No, what Evolution Studios have created is a paycheck while they learn the ropes on next gen hardware, its a good game, I'd buy it if I owned a ps3, I certainly enjoyed playing it last night but a masterpiece? a revolution?

There are very few games I will tar with that brush and quite frankly nothing on the 360, ps3 or wii comes close to the class of game you describe.
