Does anyone know what software you'll need on a Windows PC to be able to share stuff over this DLNA system.. I've had a quick look around google and can't see too much.

    Looking forward to this update

Finally streaming! Now all it needs is a small price drop and I might get one...

    Hmm..

Having a look on the DLNA website it looks like it's probably the usual suspects (Cyberlink and Intervideo), but so far I can only find hardware, not software (the DLNA website is deeply unfriendly and keeps spitting out asp.net errors at me..)

Righto, apparently the main guts of DLNA is the UPnP media server/client specs, with DLNA providing certification and certain levels of inter-op..

Hopefully VLC will work to a certain extent, but there is a bit of software here: http://www.twonkyvision.de/index.html which would work..

I'm sure more software will turn up soon

    Edit: Yup, freeware here: http://tversity.com/home/

my only complaint is you MUST download the update before you can do anything else online, i missed a clan war because i was stuck at 38% complete.... it should be possible to postpone it for a bit.

i believe it will take a good year or so before top exclusive titles start coming out, lots of people are complaining about the lack of games, but with devs just now learning about the capabilites of ps3 its gonna take a little time before they start taking advantage of the system.
