Honestly the best £7 I've spent in ages. I played it loads on the N64 but lost the cartridge a while back. Since downloading it I've been playing it way more than any other game. It's just superb in multiplayer, witha couple of mates, so so good, hours of time that should be spent working have gone missing on it. If you don't have access to the original it's definitely worth a look. I hope they hurry up and bring out a Mario Kart: Wii!

I just bought a Wavebird controller each for myself and the missus. We booted up Double Dash for the first time since we got the Wii, this evening... it's like we only stopped playing yesterday!
I take it the SNES version is on the VC service?
Best version by far.
Not at the moment, it's the N64 version, who knows? They may release the SNES one may come out too.

the n64 version is pretty damn good aswell though
lol this makes me want a wii, i got a cube and two pads already so that helps. u know what im gonna go wii shopping soon lol
