Ace Combat 6 Demo

Wooow this is a pretty amazing game! Not really a fan of the series, I remember whizzing around on a ps1 version...dreadful does spring to mind. But the new one is awesome

I got kinda stuck in the second part of the demo where there's just crazyness going on. Part 1 isn't too clear either but out of all the enemies you just target the ones with the red TGT next to their name. I don't get the radar at all, because the colours are weird. Enemies and allies show up as green and blue, which one is which? Usuallly green should be squadron and blue should be allies.

All green planes are enemies and blue are all allies. To target an enemy, face them and press Y and it locks onto them, when it goes red (that triangle thing) shoot em it looks more complicated than it is...

Weird that green are enemies. Quite a lot of the time I can't get the missiles to lock on, I have to switch between special weapons and missiles for the lock-on to initialise. Must just be a demo bug.

i used to love playing these on the playstation 1

Interesting, Hori are meant to only sell those in Japan (it's part of the deal with Saitek to use their HOTAS externals).

well iv just finished the demo on 2nd attempt (on the first i decided to stay and fight rather than running away west. got down a few SU-XX's but ran out of time )

me likey a lot and this will be the 2nd 360 game i buy
