halo3 for me wasnt the greatest thing to grace the 360, maybe just overhyped :/
Not got the points for them yet, a 4200 card should arrive soon
I'm getting them because I'm a whore, but I'm not pleased to be paying 800 for them, they best be as good as bungie have been making them out to be. 400-600 points would have been a much more acceptable price, more in line with the Halo 2 map packs.
Any news on when theyll be free, 800 points it taking the proverbial.

A while, sometime in the spring. What I don't get is why they decided to put them at 800, they could have easily put them at 400-600 and made more than twice the sales before they became free as a lot of people are put off by the price, possibly even keeping them as premium content for a long while. Does feel a bit like a slap in the face, I imagine these maps were more expensive to develop than their Halo 2 maps, but the first map pack on Halo 2 was two maps for free plus 3 more premium maps, IIRC these only cost about 4 quid, and if you wanted you could buy them on a DVD, all 5 maps plus more extra content for less than what we're paying for these 3.
