PLaystation Network issues with EA(FIFA08)

Ok, so i too kthe plunge and bought a ps3, and loving it so far. Only issue is that I try to play my m8 in a fifa game and after a certain while it cuts out. (usually any game longer than 6 mins a half)

- Were both using wired connection, all other non-ea games work fine. Ive googled it and loads of information has come up, but none to solve it

- People suggest its EA's fault(which it probably is) but i was wondering if anyone has had problems with playing fifa online

- Quick online matches work fine

My mate has fifa 08 on his ps3 and he mentioned that there was some issues - but then a patch was released earlier this month that fixed it, i take it your fully patched?
