    Bf 2 crash

    when i run the sandbox mod on bf2 about 2-5 mins into game EVERY single time it crashes, but when i remove 1 of my 1 gig memory sticks its runs, i tried it with both sticks and they had no crashes. anyone have some advice? i put my system stuff into that thing hexus asked for or w/e so yeah theres my specs

    are yourunning any overclocking used to have problems on bf2 with my memory overclocked ages and ages ago try setting the system back to stock that should sort it

    How did you get vista to run on your xbox??


    Are you using 4gb ram? There are known problems in using 4gb and vista, my friend could only use 3gb ram to get crysis working, added another stick and it would run like a dog.

    Have you installed any drivers / optimisations for dual core? For AMDs you need the dual core optimiser from their website to ensure few problems with BF2.

    Secondly what firewall do you use, if BF2 cannot use the pnkbster (A and B) iirc it crashes, had both of these problems with this.

    well when i installed my new copy of vista ultimate i never know what drivers to install, i ran driver magic to help me with that but i havent used it for this o/s yet, i did use it on my other vista ands till had problems, before i have xp awhile ago, and a person told me about reformating a harddrive and i cant remeber if i reformated my harddrive or not, maybe that is the problem? oh and for the firewall, its avg, ill run bf2 and check my punkbusters once i get back from skool

    oh, i also used a wipedriver5 to clean out my harddrive , but when i installed the current ver of vista i had, i could boot from to cd so i had to have my o/s running and install my current vista, could that have been a problem too?
