been having a play now i'm at parent's for a couple of days who have wireless...I couldn't be bothered to set it up at my home but its great fun to take on 'the world'...but then always some kid from japan comes on and wipes the floor with everyone else...no idea how they manage to go so fast! looks like they wiggle all over the track but still accelerate away ?!!

Is there an unlockable character on this or cheats?

There's always some guy who seems to have a super fast cart.

    Re: Mario Kart wi-fi anyone?

Haven't played it yet. Is it as good as the SNES version was in its day, I know its a difficult comparison to make. Excluding online play of course.

Felt burnt by loose feel of the N64 and Gamecube versions, not being "tight" like as the original and wanted to know if it has regained the control feeling that the original had. Missed the loss of the difference in performance of a pro to a rookie. I liked that in the SNES version if you had not hit anything after one lap you just started getting even faster.
