    G25 Steering Wheel on F1

Has anyone here got a Logitech G25 running with F1 Championship Edition on their PS3?

G25 arrived yesterday, got it all setup and the first game i tried it on was F1, and the Force Feedback doesn't feel right and I'm not sure if its the wheel or just the game.

Basically when going down the straights (moreso I think after just coming out of a corner, but when driving in a straight line), the wheel seems to vibrate and knock the steering left and right making it quite tough at times to keep a straight line, sometimes a little bit, but sometimes quite violently (as if I just ran over something).

However, I also tried the wheel with Burnout Paradise and that seems fine when driving in a straight line, so I am thinking its the F1 software but interested to hear from anyone else that has tried the G25 with F1.

Also, the force feedback seems to totally cut out when i rotate the wheel more than 90 degrees either way, even when running over the kerb (rumble strip) areas. Is this normal? This also happens for me in Burnout.

I have had a good long search around the net for Force Feedback issues, and trawled through the Logitech forums to no avail, so was hoping I could get some feedback from anyone here who has the same setup.

What's your wheel rotation set to in Windows and in game?

I've a DFP that I leave at 720 degrees most times.

I've not yet connected it up to my PC, only tried it on the PS3. When the game starts up and it does its auto spin calibration thing, it does rotate the full 900 degrees.

Ah, yes, whups. I'll pay more attention in future.

It's just that this effect is similar to windows when you're wheel is 720+ capable, yet it's set to something like 270 or less.
Does the G25 have a set of keypresses like the DFP does to enable full rotation, something along the lines of SELECT+R3+(left/right)?

Re: G25 Steering Wheel on F1

    Hm, I have no idea

I plan to get it setup in front of the PC at some point and test it on there. Was playing F1, Burnout and some driving demos on the PS3 at the weekend and generally the wheel feels fine to use, I didnt really notice if the force feedback was cutting out on sharp turns or not.

What I am noticing still is on F1, with the wheel straight and driving in a straight line the wheel jumps around a lot, yet on a slight turn you only get a slight vibration (as i would expect) and more of an effect when clipping kerbs etc. Was really hoping to find someone else with the F1 game on the ps3, to see if its the same or whether I have a faulty device because the strauight line vibration really doesnt feel right.. but I am not getting it on other games ..
