Don't hurt me... I got Mario Galaxy, and found it fun, and well worth the money, but I didn't find it great or superb or life-changing. Just... lots of fun. I'd have given it 89%.

    Re: New to Wii!

Thus far, I have rented from Boomerang: Trauma Centre, Second Opinion (too many cutscenes, bad instructions, "all your base are belong to us" translations in points, but good use of wii-remote) and Mario Party 8 (unspeakably dire, thanks to the boring board game and splitting the screen in 4 for some mini games. Why? I was up against the computer. Why would I give a flying crap what they were up to, at the expense of a decent size playing area?

I'm on a free trial period with Boomerang. I think they're sending me crappy games until I take out a full membership: Mario Galaxy, Zelda and Tigerwoods 07 or 08 haven't been the ones they chose for me from my "pipeline"...

Mario Galaxy & Mario Kart... brilliant games.
Personally love bowling and have found the bowling game in WiiPlay much fun for the whole family.

    Re: New to Wii!

Heh. Way to resurrect a two year old thread!
Don't mind, though, as I was just coming back to say something, but before I do: I agree with you on bowling, have been playing with my 4 year old son recently. He gets a phenomenal number of strikes, without fully understanding how to use the controllers.

Anyway, what I came back to say was:

    Just got Okami.

    Oh.
    Your.
    God.

    How cool is it??!?!?
