Any Soul Calibur 4 players here?

Just wondering as i like to take a relaxing break from ranked matched sometimes and play in a versus room. Problem is half the time people don't chat so i was wondering if any of you lot play and if so what are your GT's.

Its kind of a long shot as i have a lot of you on the list anyway, but im giving it a bash regardless.

I loved Soul Calibur 1 on the Dreamcast... I've been really tempted to buy SC4 because of that but I'm not sure....

What's it like? Convince me and we can play =D

similar gameplay, awesome graphics. The character list has grown a lot since back then and it has a cracking character creator on it as well.

online and with friends is where its at though, not a game to play single player for a huge amount of time.

I've been tempted to pick it up. Not really a massive beat'em up game fan though, the last one I bought was Tekken on the PS1.

I'm a bit like Gr44, I'd probably get it if I could pick it up for around the £30 mark. I've pre-ordered Too Human as well and with that and WAR coming next month I don't think I'm gonna have a lot of time for it.

I picked it up last night from Blockbusters (£36.50). Not overally impressed so far, the single player is a huge step down from the first Soul Calibur which is rather disapointing to be honest...

Also the story mode I completed in like 20mins and didn't die once (as in, fail a mission) which was kind of lame... Only had about ~10 fights in total.

Add me anyway and you can trash me online, I'm aweful are beat em' ups =D

I might pick it up used, I downloaded the demo earlier and it was OK, but it was a bit samey, I completed it in about 5 minutes ( albeit on normal ) and I'm normally fairly rubbish at beat-em'-ups. If I do get it I'll have to practice a bit before I take you on Danger Frog, you're always on it!

the tower mode will keep you going for a while though as it gets damn hard as you get further up it.

and sam the missus will give you a few scraps if you pick it up as she is getting into it now as well

I have the game but never play online really although i used to be a VF5 maniac, maybe i'll give some of you guys some games though once i get a gold account again.
