    Question Essential Wii purchases for christmas.

    I just got the kids their own Wii for chrimbo & so far I've got them
    Wii Sports
    Wii Play
    Wii Fit
    Mario Cart + 2 Wheels
    4 controllers & nunchucks

    to go with it. However I want to get them a few more games, but what?

    Recomendations???

    Guitar hero 3, its a great laugh but make sure you get 2 guitars so you can battle each other.

    Better still get rockband, and get your youngest singing away to some oasis or something. I think it needs 4 players!

    What about rockband for the wii as Chris as said ?

    I know the price is off-putting at times, but to be honest I rarely play any other game apart from tiger woods 09 on my xbox 360. It's that bad now, the drums and guitar perminently live under and behind the sofa for quick access.

    Also, you'll be able to play as well

    Mario Galaxy definitely.
    Zelda I've got, having trouble getting into it.
    Lego Star Wars is good. Indiana Jones less so, IMHO. depends how much they like Star Wars, perhaps.

    I'm getting Wii Ski/ Family Ski for Xmas, to go with teh Wii Fit I've bought my wife. Can't wait to try it, it looks awesome on youtube videos.

    Bought Boom Blox for my brother for christmas, had a quick go (to make sure it was working obviously) as his Wii is in my house at the moment and it really is an addictive game, even Dad couldn't stop playing it. My nephew loves it too (he's 4).

    Absolutely. Basically the only 3 reasons to own a Wii (they are very, very good reasons though).
