Have you got your wii for Xmas?

Loads of places still out of stock at the moment but I was able to get a wii fit as part of a really cool bundle on http://www.wiicompare.com - have a look if you're still trying to get hold of one

I have already bought a guitar hero world tour from http://www.blueunplugged.com/p.aspx?p=137455 about £26.04 for this christmas.

    Eh ?

Wii's are so LAST CHRISTMAS it's untrue.

We all got them last year, acted out wii sports over the christmas and new year period and now they've been stuck on shelves under the TV for months, un-used, un-dusted and un-powered.

Mine got turned on once this year and that was when I tested it before passing it to my mother as she wants to play with one. However, I reckon the novelty has wore off now because after 3 days, it too is sat under her TV totally unpowered.

When people do this, I don't think it's the games console. It's the games that you bought with your Wii. People tend to buy the sports games that you play with other people, the novelty wears of quickly. There are some great titles for the Wii that you can play for days on end.

I couldn't flail that Wiimote around for any more than 20 minutes at a time >_<
I do love my Wii though, regularly enjoying the light gun games, it's a welcome change of pace from FPS gaming.

Re: Have you got your wii for Xmas?

Picked one up a few weeks ago with extra Wiimote and Nunchuck for the kids for Christmas, our previous one died and couldn't get it returned for repair as my wife won it at work so no receipts or anything

Either way, kids will be happy as we bought Mario and Sonic Olympics so they can play it together and hopefully no battles on who is playing on it.
