has anybody acturally been able to get a jasper yet?

well, we've all seen the pictures of the jaspers and we all know what to look out for but has anybody whos been jasper hunting acturally had much luck? ive been christmas shopping in reading today and was after an xbox 360 arcade i asked to have a look in john lewis gamestation zavvi and two game stores and every console they showed me had a 14,2A 12v rating one guy in game told me not to believe anything i read on the internet as its all lies lol the amount of people who are holding back on buying a new 360 until they get a confirmed jasper is crazy, you'd think some retailer or website would capitalise on this i know scan are aware and will let us know when they get lucky which i think is great and shows how good their customer relations are but i dont hold much luck now of getting a jasper in time for christmas

dont, most currently available are older batches anyway, you wont get a jasper until new year thats for sure... and would you really belive what some bloody idiot tells you about "not believing what you read on the internet" I suppose he just hasn't got a clue so has to fob you off with some ridiculous excuse.

    And breath.

If you shouldn't believe anything you see on the internet, why does Game have an online store? Surely this means all their prices and stock are lies?

I agree with Bunji, that guy clearly doesn't have half a brain cell.

Dave, I hate to put a dampener on things but don't get your hopes up mate. I got a replacement console last week, after my 2006 unit broke. The replacement was manufactured in October '08 and doesn't even have HDMI!

They must be making new consoles without HDMI as a replacement for old broken consoles. It has a 16A power rating, too, so I'm guessing a Xenon board.

    Oddly enough, it's surprisingly quiet.

How constructive to debate is it to post your message in one big lump of text that's hard to read?

Use a full stop and go to a new line every now and again.

I apologise that you found it hard to read my post. With all the trauma of failing to find a Jasper my grammar must of gone out of the window.

It was 6 better, and the better scale only goes up to 12, so you did well.

Just like, dude, start a new line every now and again.
