XBOX 360 Wireless connection with Wired Broadband modem

hi there, was wandering if anyone could help, ive got the xbox 360 elite upstairs in bedroom and internet below in living room, but it is broadband (wired). I cant get the cable upstairs (as not my house so drilling holes is out of the question), i know i can get the MS wireless reciever from xbox but does anyone know if it is possible to get a device to plug into my modem to turn it into a wireless signal which I could pick up on the xbox, have been looking everywhere but not to clued up on this. I tried to do this. Absolute nightmare, ended up giving up. Everything else in my house worked on wireless but the 360. Shame.
