360 Repair question..

Bought my console in 06. Got the 3 red lights in 07. Got it repaired under warranty. Just had the 3 red lights again 2 years later. Apparantly the 3 year warranty stands from the date of purchase and not the new warranty given when I had it repaired in 07? Is this true?

It would make sense - your original purchase was guaranteed to work for three years, and they've provided you with the hardware neccessary to maintain that. You could reasonably argue for an extention equal to the time you've been without the console during repair.

Yeah. Just winds me up. Looks like I'll be taking it to a shop to get fixed. Not paying the rip off price microsoft charge.
