It's a DSi with two 4" screens instead of 3.25" screens. Nothing else major from what I know so far.

The DSi is cheaper, smaller and lighter, so I'm not sure how this is a slap in the face for buyers of that one? This XL model is for people who struggled with the small size, as Nintendo quite cleverly realised that a lot of older people were playing DS games when the unit was originally designed for children to use.
I don't mean in the way the DSi is a slap in the face I meant those who went and got a DSi and then the DSi with the 4" screens lands a few months down the line TBH honest though I know very few people that actually have a problem with the DSL screen size. The dual 4" would be nice but I wouldn't say its a major upgrade to make those of us on older tech to jump ship
I'm not slagging the DS at all as it has to be the most played platform I have right now. I just wished I hadn't got hooked to Chrono Trigger again and Super Robot OG Endless Saga, these two alone have had something like 100+ hours pumped into them as they are that epic. RPG's ain't good for my spare time

Seems to be a lot of that going around in the handheld market, if I'd gone out and bought a PSP3000 I'd feel a bit slighted by the PSP Go to be fair, luckily I didn't
The idea of a DSi LL appeals to me but that's only because shamefully I don't own a DS of any kind already
It's scary how much time you can waste on a DS without realising it. Especially once you get into the homebrew stuff. The amount of software and apps you can be playing with is a huge time wasting exercise in itself. Especially the mass of scrolling shoot em ups being ported from the old C64 days
