any good role playing games for PC?

well as the title says i wanted to know of any games that are similar to the fable series?
i like how you can upgrade your charecter but its not actually upgrded in levels
also i like how you can buy houses and get married...
obviously i no that there prob isnt any game thats the same but similar ones with modern graphics (as fable 1 is abit outdated ) i was looking at Divinity 2: ego draconis as it looks like a nice game that lets you do similar things plus by the name it has a dragon wich i like

Get the Forgotten Realms box pack (includes Neverwinter Nights + expansions) for £25, and you have at least 2 months worth of solid hardcore RPG heaven. If you're a normal person, you could get a years worth of entertainment.

    Mass Effect 1&2, KOTOR 1& 2.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: any good role playing games for PC?

    List would be

    Mass Effect 1 & 2 [just completed 2nd waiting for the 3rd ! ]
    Dragon Age
    Baulders gate 1 & 2
    Fallout 2 & 3
    Oblivion : Elder Scrolls

MMO's I think EQ2 is probably still good though its been a while , and Vanguard is improved alot though monthly payments.

Did I just see someone recommending Hellgate London?

Just steer clear of that game. The developers went bust, the online servers have been taken down, and it was a buggy mess from the start. This could only be recommended to hardcore Diablo fans and most of those will have already "experienced" Hellgate.

If you are looking for hack'n'slash game then games like Titan Quest, Torchlight or Sacred 2 would be far better choices.

If you are looking for more of an RPG experience rather than mostly combat, games like The Witcher or The Elder Scrolls games would fit the bit nicely, and for a more futuristic twist - Fallout 3 or Mass Effect.
