    Wheel for the 360?

Hey just been looking for a wheel that i can use with my 360 and pc anyone got any recommendations for a good one?

Looked for the old Microsoft Wireless wheel but thats out of stock everywhere now and the new madcatz one that is meant to have replaced it doesnt have force feedback on.

Anyone know of any other good wheels?

I have the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel with Force Feedback (thats its exact name). Got mine from Argos but like you said, they are out of stock! Not sure about Madcatz but I tend to stay away from unofficial brands...but i'm a snob

Fanatec do a wheel for xbox360 but it's about £400. It's only recently that Microsoft have allowed third parties to do steering wheels which is why there aren't many yet.

Had madcatz stuff in the past, I now avoid it.

The kids had an official one, seemed to be well made & they used it until they realised they could trade it.....little goits.

Fanatec & MadCatz are the only people licensed to produce wheels, you will be lucky to get fanatec as mines been on order since 13th December and im still waiting

    Re: Wheel for the 360?

im sure i read somewhere that Microshaft were discontinuing the wireless 360 wheel, has been plaguesd with issues, the wheel tends to come loose after a few months which ruins the feel.

some issues still remain with the force feedback burning out. (could be related to older models but mine did it twice).

forza 4 may be the only reason for a wheel.

I would have recommended the same wireless one. but as you said, out of stock :/

    could always use kinect

I thought the Fanatec was around £230 after you converted the exchange rate?

    Re: Wheel for the 360?

It's a bloody shame they decided to make it a different standard to the PC controllers. I have a lovely Logitech wheel that I can use with both my PC and my PS3 but not my xBox. I can't afford another wheel and I hate driving using the controller so it means I don't buy any racing games for the xBox.
I'd really like to play Forza but there's no point buying it. I'd load it up, get frustrated after about 20 minutes then never play it again.

    Re: Wheel for the 360?

Yeh the MS wheel is bunk. Mines got loads of bugs including bringing up the main xbox menu randomly during a race usually at the worst moment. I haven't used itnthat much but it's already sloppy as hell.

Need a decent one for £100 odd. Cmon logitech.....
