    PlayStation Plus

Is it actually worth it? I haven't bothered shelling out the £40 for it, because there isn't really anything I'd buy even at a discounted price.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

I was on the 3 month trial and it wasn't that special. You get access to some demos before everyone else and also get a few cheap games for free each month.

    IMO it's not worth it.

The only bit of it that sounded interesting was the auto-update feature, but no idea if that actually made it into the end product or not. Besides, it should be provided as standard.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

I'm not a fan myself, the "games" and extras are not worth the money. If they gave better games and extras I might give it another go, but it's full of crap.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

Doing the 30 day trial thingy and it's really nothing more apart from discounted stuff on PSN store. I suppose it's worth it if you buy lots of stuff of the PSN store

My friend had it and he said it was a waste of money. He never really used any of the features of it.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

I had the trial and wasn't really impressed with it. The free games were ok but would bother paying a subscription for it until there is more on offer.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

I like very one's saying "I had the trial"... PSN failed a month ago remember, everyone had the trial

I didn't enjoy it myself. There are a few odd free movies and PSN arcade games they call "classics" but I don't think it's all they make it out to be.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

It's... OK. Some of the discounts save you money but a lot of the free games aren't anything special. Doesn't balance out over the year for what you get in quality IMO.

    Re: PlayStation Plus

I think its excellent value just for the games and offers. Street Fighter HD, Prince of Persia, MVC2 etc... Plus brand new games were free like Stacked... Great deals like RE4 HD for £6.99... £2 of Daytona... If those sorts of things (fraction of what I got last year) dont interest you then clearly not for you... Next year cost me £32 and as i got a £35 PSN voucher from Game for £25, it was basically 1/2 price!

    Re: PlayStation Plus

While the discounts are certainly decent, it's irritating that if/when you decide to cancel that you'll lose all the free stuff.

Surely more people would sign up if you got to keep it?
