only 1 or 2 per product lifetime on track dlc going by previous games, so another 4-12 months. Wont be fantasy tracks either, real life high profile courses only for DLC

    Re: The Forza 4 Thread

Has anyone used the supposed Kinect head tracking integration? Is it actually in any way worthwhile, or is it just a gimmick? I've got a Kinect, originally so me and the missus could do fitness stuff on it. But now it's mostly gathering dust as she's had to move down south for work and i'm about to move into a different house with a much smaller living room (where if I stand up Kinect won't be able to see all 6'2" of me at once) . I am thinking of getting Forza 4 once the move is done and dusted, but if the head tracking stuff is just a rubbish gimmick I might as well sell the Kinect. I did download the demo from XBox Live but I couldn't see any options for Kinect and it didn't seem to be tracking me at all so I assume it wasn't included in the demo version.

Forza 4 definatly worth buying a xbox to play, GT5 definatly not worth even playing at friends house

    Re: The Forza 4 Thread

Got meself a copy now Although Kinect can't see me when i'm sat on the sofa. It can't tell the difference between my head and the curtains. Still, the rest of the game seems awesome. Once i'm not rubbish i'll see if I can have some races online.

BTW: Do the races later in the World Tour get longer? I'm currently quite bad at being a violent bumpy overtaker, but my main reason for that is that in a 2 lap race I simply don't have the time to be careful and overtake nicely. I just have to take the racing line aggressively and if one of the AI cars tries to come in the side I just shove them out the way. Thus far each Championship has got longer, but individual races themselves have stayed at 2 laps. I'm hoping for 10, 20+ lap races in future.

    Re: The Forza 4 Thread

i think that too many people are trying to compare Forza and GT5. They are different games and different game types. GT5 being for the more serious simulator and forza for having more fun and messing around in. i do love the theater viewer in forza though and its ability to "play" with the car and the inclusion on other cars that aren't in the game like the halo warthog

    Re: The Forza 4 Thread

While I agree that it's daft to rage about one being better than the other, just play the one you enjoy most/have the console for, I would dispute claims that Forza is less of a sim than GT5. Forza allows you to scale the sim nature of the game back so that it is very much an arcade experience, yes. But with all the assists turned off I would argue that it is just as much of a racing sim as GT5. If you want a *real* sim racer, go and get yourself a copy of iRacing or similar
