The 16 gigs would be pushing it, with game installs alone, never mind how mahoosive some of the patches for games are in comparison to 360 games
Now its september, what did Sony actually do this summer? Nothing new, its seems it will never descend into the high street shop this year.
They should make it bigger instead of smaller. So they can put some decent cooling in it.
Same goes for 360. No idea why they keep making stuff slimmer, same with tv sets. Maybe to make it cheaper to ship them?
Agree with the decent cooling. Had to buy a PS3 slim after my original PS3 died. I really miss the backwards compatibility for my PS2 games.
Still running an original 60GB (although now has 320GB) PS3 Phat here. Not put a fan wrong on it. I'd probably replace it when the PS4 comes out ... if it breaks probably try and fix the thing. It is useful having the 4 USB ports, although WHY can't they stick one on the back?
i think the new ps3 is very clunky, though i never liked the ps3 to begin with so maybe thats why
It looks kinda cheap :/ Tbh, i prefer the ps3 slim (2nd gen) over this one....
The whole thing feels cheap and the sliding cover will inevitably break. I can also confirm the BD drive is louder as there's nothing but that cheap flimsy bit of plastic between the drive and the outside world (no noise dampening whatsoever!)... The 2nd gen PS3 slim (with 40nm RSX chip) is still the best option imo .
Pricing of these new PS3s seem a bit bizarre as well. The 12GB has some nice discounts, but for a non-gimped version you're still paying what you paid two years ago.
